Being the hip suburban housewife that I am, I happen to know that a ‘MOOT’ is essentially just an abbreviation of the word “mutual,’ as in, ‘mutual followers.’ In other words, people that you follow and interact with on social media are your 'moots'.
BUT, thanks to Mohammed Bin Hamdain I just learned about a different kind of MOOT (an assembly held for debate) because Georgetown University chose him to be their representative at the 28th Willem C. Vis Moot!
The Vis Moot is an international competition fostering the study of international commercial law and arbitration and provide a practical training to students for resolving international business disputes. https://www.vismoot.org/
