Mugahed Almiri recently took part in the International Youth Conference (IYC) in New York. With over 250 speakers and 42 sessions, it was one of the largest assembled youth conferences and its major theme revolved around "Empowering Youth Achievement in Sustainable Development Goals". The IYC prioritizes the inclusion of youth from the global south and indigenous communities, and a highlight of the event was a celebration of International Peace Day.
